I’m Kristin Davis, and I’m running for the Maine House of Representatives District 145 for the town of Wells.

I grew up in Maine, the daughter of a Marine, teacher, and coach to hundreds of Maine students, and my mom, who dedicated her life to service as an EMT and Fire and Rescue Dispatcher. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the University of Southern Maine. I attended American University in D.C., where I received my Master’s in Public Administration and Public Policy in 2023.

I’m a successful business leader focused on car seats and child passenger safety. Before this role, I worked in the infant feeding industry for 12 years, providing access to safe, healthy feeding supplies to Moms and children, regardless of the zip code they were born into throughout the United States. I am a proud labor supporter and walked the picket lines with my coworkers for weeks during my earlier time at Verizon for CWA Local 1400.

Since 2017, my husband Patrick and I have been raising our two kids in Wells with those Maine values: hard work, good sportsmanship, helping others, and giving back.

It’s why I committed to service for you. I’m not a politician, I’m a proud Wells Warrior Mom. I have not spent many seasons in Augusta, but it’s time for a change. I believe in a state government that works for the people of Wells. I promise to listen to you and deliver what really matters.

I believe education rises all tides. With my strong financial background, I promise to rework Maine’s education funding formula so Wells receive their fair share of support for off-hour childcare through their graduation at Warrior Memorial Field. I’ll also continue pushing for strong funding for YCCC, so students can afford to learn the trades and build their futures right here in Wells.

I will fight to help our seniors and veterans stay in their homes as long as they choose, access property tax relief and stronger utility oversight – because lower bills today mean a safer future tomorrow. I will drive to lower drug costs, protect MaineCare, and secure funding for Wells’ York Hospital so affordable care stays close to home. No one should have to choose between heat, food, and healthcare - or go broke because someone got sick. Healthcare is a right, not a luxury. Women's reproductive rights are a freedom and healthcare issue, not a partisan identity issue.

I believe your paycheck shouldn’t shrink because of rising prices due to inflation, tariffs, and trade. Working full-time should mean getting ahead, not just getting by, which is why I support sales tax fairness reform. By restructuring tax relief to help our Wells businesses grow, we can create more jobs here.

I believe in strong public safety built on community trust. Supporting Wells Police, Fire, and Rescue means giving them the resources and pay they need to do their jobs safely—while investing in prevention and mental health. Our public safety should be shaped by Wells, not national politics.

I know how to bring people together and get real things done that improve lives and protect the community and environment we love.

In June and November, we can rise above polarization and move forward together as neighbors. I’m running to serve all Wells residents and deliver power back home—because it’s time to do what’s right.

I would be honored if you joined our coalition. Vote for me, Kristin Davis, for your State Representative District 145.

Together, We Are Wells.
